What's the difference between Windows® and Linux hosting?"

For your hosting's speed, performance or accessibility, there's no difference between Windows® or Linux. Your computer's operating system does not need to match the type of hosting you choose. The only difference is the code or language in which your website is created.

However, our Linux hosting does offer you the option of hosting many domains on a single hosting account and comes with a control panel called Plesk. Plesk allows an administrator to set up multiple websites, e-mail accounts, and DNS entries through a web-based interface. Therefore knowledge or competance in this area is required as you will need to configure your domain and we recommend that if you do not want or do not require this functionality, then you should opt for a windows package as no configuration is required and everything is set up automatically, all you need do is create email accounts and upload your web files!
